In the end i just gave up and bought one from Singer. singer made my last one he took 2 months on a vehicle that hardly anyone heard of hyundai xg350 and it was a really good alt he never got back to me on this one guess cause the car was so new He was fast with the one for my monte. 3 weeks i think is what it took. I wouldn't mind havin' one of those xp series alts though.. Does mechman make an alternator for your car?? I ordered my alt and got it within two days even though they said it would take about a week, but It's probably because I literally live two hours from their headquarters. I still stand behind them 100 percent, had some fitment issues at first but Josh stayed on the phone with me everyday I called and helped me get everything sorted out and now it's already been over half a year and zero issues out of that alt and my voltage doesn't drop below 13.5 full tilt on the equipment and electrical in my sig. Very solid alts and they have awesome customer service. I would try them if you don't get any luck with Dc power, but I hope your issues get resolved man... I know how it feels to not get what you pay for..
