Sorry all the dimensions are in mm. The internal volume will be 4.9cft. Thinking of a centre port roughly 0.28cft at 35hz. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for me? Its a daily box, don't want crazy lows or anything like that, just something loud and clear on music. Subs are MTX 9500 12s. getting 1000rms each. hazestorm23 Posted October 20, 2013 Report Share Posted October 20, 2013 That box should be no more than 3.5 Cuz ft total ported my buddy had the same subs and he made a slightly bigger box at about 2 Cuz ft per chamber and they didn't sound bad at all . I built him a box for that same car that was on the low volume side since he was sending a bunch of power to his 12s. Your design, or shell, looks fine so far. A centre port would be a good idea, but it's likely going to displace more than .28 cubic feet. The subs will displace some as well, probably around .14-.20 each.
