Quality RCA's?

Will a quality RCA cable make a noticeable difference to the sound quality? If so what do you recommend?

Not usually a noticeable difference in sound but the ends are a lot more durable usually. I like my stingers

The correct question is: Will the right "type" of RCA cable result in better sound quality.....Yep.

You can use the best cable there is but if its the wrong type then you could still be inducing noise into your system.

No I don't I was just wondering because I have had my cables for about a year and a half.

No I don't I was just wondering because I have had my cables for about a year and a half.

If you don't have noise, then you're either:

-Using the correct cables which are fighting any present noise.

-Don't have any noise to worry about so the cables are going to work regardless.

If you're happy about the sound then I doubt you'd hear a difference, unless you step into a legit SQ setup where you need a very low noise-floor.

Now, if they're somewhat resistive and they're reducing your signal voltage to your amps, then new cables could help boost your signal which would also help the amp work with less noise.......but I'm just speculating. RCA signals are very low in current so you'll probably not see much voltage drop anyway unless the cables were pretty bad.
