Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

95neon_thumper82
yeah but here's the thing... I'm trying to do two things here... get my box building business goimg... make a lil money towards the subs I want... and make a lil money off these subs... I paid 100 for them in the boxes. I'm selling the boxes for 25 bucks... I have enough mdf to make a quick box so I figure if I make em sound good I can get 150 out of the deal.... clean sierra: they are 12s here's a pic... <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option! hazestorm23
I wouldn't do no more than .75 Cu ft per chamber sealed or 1.50 per chamber ported . No matter how good you make it the people from craigslist usually don't appreciate it lol.
95neon_thumper82
true story... its just a place to start... CleanSierra
Those look like the Punch Zs. I was never a fan of those particular subs. A couple things: Those subs are not going to impress like crazy. I doubt a custom box will really get that much output from them(better than prefab, but still) Build a sealed box with a cube per sub, or do a ported with 1.5 cubes to each. You COULD make a larger box than 3 cubes for the 2 of them, but just in case the person that buys them decides to overpower, stay on the lower side for volume. It's not like there is going to be some HUGE response jump with an extra cube from those subs specifically. The other thing: Are you really ready to be building boxes for people yet? Your last box, although much better than previous work, wasn't perfect. That trim panel, stuff like that. Do you plan on advertising your services on Craigslist? Be prepared is all I'm getting at. Please be prepared. I'm not trying to be negative or a jerk. I like you and you like to learn, which is a plus, so much love Sir from my side Please take pics of this box build as I would really like to see the progress So Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
hazestorm23
I agree with sierra and yourself lol cl people will bash you if you do something wrong . Just remember cl people are the ones breaking records with shity 12s and boss amps. You should start out by building some different boxes first for your own systems and once you think you got it right then promote yourself. nothing says I'm doing it right like showing them the box in action .
