The 04s crack under sunlight the foam that is, the internal of the sub isnt built as strong either way glad i have 07s been banging these hard since day one no problems been 3 weeks or so. Torres Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 looks like it's beatin pretty hard man! really tho...they can talk about port area all they want. i had a pretty small port on my first box and everyone commented about it, got it in, sounded good, made another with twice the port, and only thing i think helped is it got louder in the lower hz range. noticeable to the ear anyway. so i say if it pounds...then hell yeah! especially getting those things behind the seats in a small car like that. kudos to you for that too wish i could hear it in person
