graham0599
Very nice! Are you saying you've done the big 3 or that the factory already used heavy wire? My 350z build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174424-2008-350z-build/page-2?hl=%2B350z+%2Bbuild#entry2605678
Rob Smith
Factory already used 1 gauge wire on the Dodge Journey when you have all the electrical options (or so I have been told). I do know for sure, there are multiple wires for each connection of the big 3 connections. Stock it has 4 visible chassis grounds from the battery and 2 positive lines to the alt. Apparently they figured out running an electric AC for the rear seats, rear seat DVD, stock 500 watt amp, power seats/windows, stock in dash computer (not the PCM) etc etc takes some power. The stock battery also grounds to the firewall, the strut tower, the engine, the sub frame and one I cannot see where it runs under the car. Rob Smith
Thanks. I edited my voltage test post to reflect my DMM test of the amp. Needless to say, Zapco lies on their amp ratings
