ChevyBoy95 Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 No way in hell I would run one brand. May match but probably sound like ass. I'll keep shopping for stuff based on my goals and not brand name. Why do you think if it was all one brand it would sound like ass? Maybe it could sound decent but shopping by brand name is retarded. Should shop for what fits best for your application and goals not the brand name on it. Amps are understandable. Most of us run 2+ amps and it does look better matching if they are visible. But entire system no thank you. Exactly, It's just stupid to stay with one brand. But if I really had to choose it would be JL (or maybe sundown..).(just to play along with the game) The better question would be which brand would you never use in your installs, because that's a lot easier to answer. you all are missing the point. it is a simple if you ran one brand for everything, who would it be? way over thinking it.... afrakes Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 I'm doing all Sundown Audio because my OCD is to match things...I can't stand mismatching things...but smashed does have a point. It doesn't matter about matching stuff, it's about performance and quality. Although I love my Sundown stuff (yes I am a nuthugger...in a sense)..I'm pretty damn certain there are a ton of products that are better. Due to my OCD, I'm having a problem finding a certain amp because they no longer make them..which is throwing my installation date off a little. But if the OP has money. I'd suggest FI audio...everyone knows they're the best...hell most of the top brand companies today...uses Fi's old setup Did Fi start making amps? No. Too expensive to make them in America. Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT Head Unit: Pioneer DEH- Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front) Subs/Amps: TBD
