Blake Farrar Posted November 5, 2013 Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 alright, so today on my way to work my bass cut off and my mids n high volume went low only for around 5 secs or so and it happen 2 times im not sure what could be doing this i checked my head unit and all connections were good, so what do you guys think could cause this?? rockFord_Expedition Posted November 5, 2013 Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 Are your mids/highs wired powered by the H.U. or an external amplifier? What amp(s) and H.U. do you have? If your bass cut off, that means the amp lost one of 4 things and or went into protect + (A bad connection or low voltage can cause this) - (Possibly a bad connection or location) 12v turn on (A pinched wire, low voltage, etc) Signal (Pinched RCA, loose connection) Those aren't the only possibilities, but some of the most common.
