SICKSPD
My step mom doesn't want to loose any trunk space or I'd build something like this for her car There will still be room to put some stuff like say a set of golf clubs and a backpack. Or groceries. I dont ever use my trunk anyways and the challenger has a big back seat so it works fine for me. 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. But that looks really good man, nice cuts, and I haven't read back to the beginning but are you going to do them inverted or was that just for the pic? SICKSPD
Sooo the box is in… couple things… I'll call it "the good, the bad, and the ugly" The good… The subs and box and everything looks awesome. I feel like the time taken to make it right paid off in terms of looks... The Bad… well this box aint staying in for long. It doesn't sound pretty and isn't even close to as loud as that mojo I originally had in the trunk. So I'm going to start fresh and probably look into a 4th order bandpass design. The ugly… I burned the piss out of my hand with the soldering iron. Went to sit on the ground and forgot I left the iron plugged in and it was right where I placed my hand with all my weight on it. On to pics... The hand Got my Type Rs out and decided to snap a pic of all the subs up next to each other Finishing the face Bolted the battery tray down thru the car sheet metal Mounting the subs wiring it up Sooo yeah looks good, doesn't sound good. Maybe after some amp settings alterations it might be louder but I don't think the box will sound any prettier than it does now. So as of now I'm very very disappointed with this setup. I'm completely all ears for advice on what to do differently with my next box. What might did I do wrong? I might consider buying a design for a bandpass box next go around. 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft.
