SICKSPD
got these blue LED strips in the mail for under $4 on ebay. They'll go above the subs mounted to the sealed enclosure. Im debating how i want to wire it up… I'm thinking ill tap them into the remote wire of the amp to come on when the amp does? Thoughts? 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. oldsoundguy
From what I have read you should use a relay then I am sure it would be fine. SICKSPD
From what I have read you should use a relay then I am sure it would be fine. Not 100%sure though. Im not all that tech savvy when it comes to what relays and resistors and whatnot are needed. I suppose i should thoroughly research first 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. Bodied B2600ZX
Yes a regular 4 pin would work. The 30 pin will be your constant hot(+), the 87 will be your led hot(+), then bring your amp remote wire(+) to either the 85 or 86, and ground(-) the other. So remote(+) to 85 and ground(-) 86 or vice versa 2 - Sundown SA 8V2 | CT Sounds 1400.1 | Pioneer DEH-X8500BS | 4/0 Big
Bodied B2600ZX
You won't need any resistors. Those strips are made to run on 12v. Those are just short versions of what I'm wiring in my ports to pulse to the beat. 2 - Sundown SA 8V2 | CT Sounds 1400.1 | Pioneer DEH-X8500BS | 4/0 Big
