I was going to run similar in my car, but my battery is in the wheel well, and there si very little room to work with, it sucks. they do have terminals under the hood for jumping the battery if need be, but i didnt know if i could use those to do runs to my trunk or not, so i left it alone, with my power one run is fine for now til i figure something else out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd. Agreene Posted November 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 finished the box today and go the bitch in.... think i busted a nut getting that thing in the trunk big thanks to a friend robert kelly for letting me use his shop to work at and helping the box. ( also big thanks to braxton ) port... front black and bare wood areas in cabin will be covered with fur bracing in ported area. also the port will screw into the 2x4's to stop any port movement. and shes done... NOW GETTING IT INTO THE CAR..... after a couple overs of hammering and cutting and busting balls we got it in... lets just say that bitch aint coming out... where you can see the bare wood is where more of the carpet fur will go good bye trunk. tuned to 42hz. real world testing revealed an actual tuning of 37-39 hertz with the sealed resonance being just about the same as the port tuning. so for all you that understand 4th order at the tuning...... yea its going to murder the lows. braxton helping out o yea and lunch break went and got some diabetes.... 3 doubles and like 8 singles 3 large fries and cokes between the 3 of us Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
