6 Punch 12's in a kia sorento

I am new to this forum, but not new to car audio. I will be posting my build step by step on here. Going with (6) punch 12's, (3) 900.1 mono block amps. All going in my 2003 Kia Sorento. Its not gonna be (4) 18's on 30kws, but Im sure it will boom. I'm using the P1S4 single coil Punch 12's.

Got the first pair of 12's today, waiting on 4 more by next thursday. Already have three Jensen power 900.1 monoblock amps. ordering 4 punch 6.5's for the doors and a Jensen 760.4 4 channel amp to run those. Also have an audio control line driver, and im putting an optima red top battery in the back. This will be the biggest system I have ever built, and I cant wait to get started.

Ordered the second pair of 12's this morning. should have them by friday. I looked at MRD6's build. It looks AWESOME. great job dude. I hope mine will be as good. although im not doing a wall build. just building three sealed boxes each holding two subs, then gonna bolt them together to make one solid box. My wife and I go camping alot and I have a queen size air mattress that fits perfect in the back with the seats folded down, so I wanna be able to remove the sub box when we go camping. Living in colorado we have some awesome mountain trails to go wheelin. I have a three inch lift on the sorento with 31" good year duratrax tires. so its my mud-missle, daily driver, and soon to be sound machine. will be starting the build within the month. Still collecting supplies.

welcome to the forum and pics are very well liked.. BTW if you're going to use Optima battery then you need the yellow top not the red. I would recommend getting a XS Power batt for the back instead of optima for the $.. The optimas aren't what they use to be.

I love my sorento. havent been stuck yet. BTW daystar makes a lift kit for it (thats where i got mine). Installs super easy and you can go up to a 31" tire with it. also I was told that the yellow top battery is a deep cycle and from what i understand, you dont want a deep cycle in there. All advise is very welcome. I know I dont want to use a led acid battery cuz I dont wanna have to vent it. I havent looked at the XS bateries. I would love more info on them though. how much $ is the main concern at this point.
