BassCruze Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Right now I have a single Sa12 in a 2 cube box ported at 32hz with 31.25in^2 of port area. Running on 1250w at 1 ohm from a power acoustik BAMF amp. The plan is to either upgrade to a single x15 in a 4 cube box tuned to 32hz or add another sa12 in a 5 cube box tuned to 34hz. Either case my amp will get changed out to a audiopipe 1800.1. The system is in a 2014 chevy cruze with stock electrical. Which setup would be louder? Quote

But, if you're over powering the SA-12s... then they would be louder than just the RMS on an X. Well I listen to a lot of rap and decaf stuff so I was thinking the 2 12's would be a better option. I also thought they would have more surface area so they would be louder. But I don't know if that's exactly true. Quote
