03 Xtreme Fosgate Posted November 27, 2013 Report Share Posted November 27, 2013 No that's actually 1/2" MDF covered in carpet My first carpeting job too,I'll be posting pics in my build log soon. It needs 3/4" mdf because of the weight but that little bit of difference took more leg room away from me so I switched it out. You can't see it but I have pieces of rubber under each corner of the amps so there was some airspace between and also have 2 fans behind the T2500 and 1 behind the T600.4 and T400.4. The amp rack will be changing though when I build a box that actually works with my subs,my box was built for RF T1 12's 6 years ago and now running T2's. Needless to say the port noise can be ridiculous on some songs..
