Thought I would post up some pics of the doors being glassed and putting body filler on them.

This is when they were drying from being glassed.

and that's about it for those. didn't get really any pics of wrapping them because of how hard it was. the way the panels are on the curve make it

really hard to wrap.

Anyways here are some other updates.

These are the XL's we swapped into my buddies car. I am fairly impressed with them.

They are louder than the Soundstream subs. only thing is they don't get as low.

And that's it for tonight. just some more pics I thought I would throw up here. I am goanna be working on it a lot this weekend so I will post up more pics soon.

Second of all, I got my door panels in. Now they are definitely not the best door panels ever but considering its my first time fiber glassing and wrapping they are pretty

good. they sound good to. the driver side door is pretty much done and I gotta touch up the passenger side door a bit. I got some of the wrinkles out with a heat gun but not all of them. anyways, this is what they look like.

I think they look really good if that's your first time. Now I got some mid bass 8s I wanna do mine. What did you use to finish the door panel? Looks like a black plastic wrap? How do they sound, are you happy with them?

I am very happy with them. They arn't extremely loud yet but they will be. That dtr isn't the best amp. Soundstream has stepped it up since then so when I get my new amps which will either be the new tarantula amps or the reference amps they will be louder. And as far as wrapping I used a leather vinyl wrap. I used some spray glue to hold it on but I got some cheaper glue and that's why they are a bit wrinkled. Make sure you have good strong glue. But ya I am pretty happy with them.

no I am not sponsored and I don't switch brands because I like their products. Notice how I don't have soundstream woofers anymore. That's because I didn't care for them. I like there amps, mids and highs, and everything else. Just don't care for their subs. If you don't like them which I know you don't why do you have to come onto my log and say stuff like that. I run what I run because I enjoy their equipment. They make solid products.

Alright so I have some updates that will be coming soon. I got new mids and highs amps and I am planning on doing some more alternator runs. Then a new alt, small cap bank, and a second XXX. This is all goanna happen over the summer. For the most part the build is somewhat done though. I haven't had bass for a long time so right now I am just enjoying it. I will also be at lots of shows this summer along with my buddy who has the Avenger. we will be doing a whole rebuild of his in the fall but I will probably make a separate log for that. Anyways look out for updates this weekend. Nothing to big but there is still some work to be done.
