The cap idea I'm considering but I should be good with out rear batts.

Starting with a 250 amp singer alt, external regulator, then taking out the batt box under hood and fitting in a slightly bigger batt. 2 run pos 0guage, all common grounds in back to frame. Then I'm gonna use a dmm to check for a possible gain in neg runs (I'm sure I will gain might just do it while doing the rest) and possible a cap bank or batt in back.

if you going with dd, 3 10s is most cone you can fit back their otherwise you just wasting money on power and subs and box.

Actually 2 15's fits well, but my loudest setup in the car was 4 12's and they fit just fine. It takes some trial and error but it is capable of being done. Each setup was musical as well peaking in the low 40hz range.

He is talking about DD subs. 2 DD 9515's would need about 8 cubes net. otherwise I would do 2 15's in the hatch for sure. btw ya you can post pics up. curious

as to how you did it.

I will post pics when I get home from work. However, the box that I ran 2 15's in for daily was 7.6 cubes net, so I'm sure there is another .4 cubes that could be eeked out of there to make them work.

if you got 7.6 cubes net in your hat h box I should be able to get at least 8-9 if I did a c pillar. I still don't think I can do

DD 9515's in a hatch setup though.

Ok so I need some suggestions here. I will be doing a c pillar for slam next year. But, I am still undecided on whether to do 2 12's in a c or 2 15's. I'm leaning towards 12's but idk. I have about 8-9 cubes gross to work with. I'm using 9500 series subs. Any suggestions on which I should do?

if I decide on 12's I will recone and get the hatch setup as loud as I can in the mean time. If I decide 15's, I will do 2 15's in the hatch until spring. I know that is in no way optimal but might just do it for the hell of it. Any suggestions?

that's what I'm thinking. That's why I wanna do 15's. If I go into tire well, and do an external port, I will have about 7-8 cubes net for a c pillar.

that would probably be enough. I really wanna do this c pillar just because its something different. And I can seal off and not loose anything through the hatch.

That's what I am probably going to end up doing. might run a single 15 in the meantime though and see how loud I can get that.

Just do what im doing, You can fit a single 18 in the back, im about to start my box here soon. Instead of a single 15 go for the 18. I love my 18 I have it in my old box I had built a while back now im just useing it until i can get the new box done.

I would only have the 15 if I decided to do the c pillar with 15's. so ya im not goanna recone to an 18 only to recone again. but I'm still not sure what to do.
