ToNasty
That's Billz truck. He said it doesn't buy he also had a slightly bigger battery to. Basically the hd an diesels have the same body as the 1500s. There's a tray made for that spot so there's no reason that a stock size battery (d3400) won't fit there. I'm going to buy the bracket fort thing in the morning ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

ToNasty
I have the hd hood (2007 classic). Hd and diesels were made with 2 batts so it shouldn't be a problem for me now that I think about it. ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

ToNasty
You don't need to cut the bracket. Yes standard hood will fit. Bill has the same truck. Just unbolt the support, install the bracket and the 3400 is the stock size battery. ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

goodvibez
Hey my photobucket is being stupid and not allowing me to view any of my library so I cant post pics but if you look here http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169404-goodvibez-03-sierra-rebuild-engage-4-dc-xl-10s-on-2-rf-2500bdcps/page-2 in my build log there are sme more pics of how I did it and wired the two 3400's using those parts in the second post. Also I think if you start on page one there are more I cant remember, hope it helps! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating!
