Crap have only had it running for a couple of months and only a couple weeks @ 1 ohm. They vibrate my mirror even on kick synths in electric music. I swear I get more impressed with them every time I hear them. oldsoundguy Posted March 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2014 Well my amp should arrive at CT Sounds tomorrow. They are going to send me the new 3000.1 as a replacement amp. It has dual power and ground inputs so I think that's the only difference. Still does 3900 watts @ 1 ohm certified at 12.8 V So I got some extra cash so I purchased 20 sqft of NVX sound deadener from sonic. I will get the roof of my truck done to stop some of the flex resonance that I am getting. Then I will go to the fabric store and pick up some close cell foam to place over the deadener and under the headliner to help with that also. I will get extra close cell foam for inside the rear panels and inside the door panels just because I want too. lol Might have time to get some MDF rings made up to use for my new RE 6.5 component set this weekend. I really want them installed soon then I can start thinking about getting my door panels done. I also need another run of 1/0 OFC for my new amp. I have a thread in the wanted section for about 15' of OFC 1/0 but so far no one has any left over.
