oldsoundguy Posted April 25, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 Just for the hell of it I want to try the 3" faital pros in the pods on the dash in place of the focal tweeters to listen for a while. I really like the 4" pros with the Focal 5.25s. They complement each other very well. Tweeters to me just sound too high like static sometimes? IDK Maybe I need to aim them off axis. oldsoundguy Posted April 26, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2017 I had time today to swap the focal tweets for the faital pro 3". We will see what sounds better. So far the 3" sounds good. I have not had them hooked up to the arc audio amp yet. I did change the crossover settings on the amp and lowered it to 1000hz. They sound good crossed there. I will have a good drive tomorrow to work and home so I should get a good idea of the sound. Edit: I did lower the lpf on the doors to what I think is about 65hz? Best guess without a CC-1. Gives the doors a little more mid bass without rattling the doors.
