I played it for about 1/2 hour on my way home from work and fuck my ears actually hurt a little LOL. Also very minimal voltage drop. At full tilt it only went to 13.7 again and the CT Sounds 2500 never even got warm. Holy crap I am glad I have a gain knob so I can actually turn the bass down a bit. LOL My ears actually hurt a little after three days of driving to work banging it hard. So now I just listen at a lower level but the bass still hits nice and hard. I had a buddy at work today open the door and start to get out cause it was too much for him. LOL That was awesome. I do understand when you are not used to the bass it is a shock but still cool. Just need to add some sound deadener to the roof as I am still getting flex and an annoying noise when it does. I will take care of that though. oldsoundguy Posted March 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 Ok well I just got off chat with sonic and was able to get another set of RE XXX 6.5 component speakers for 219.00 The lowest price I found was ebay and they were 247, sonic was 269 and I saw them as high as 299. I have given a couple friends demos and its fun to watch their reaction. If I am not working tomorrow I will take out the head liner and get some expanding foam to fill in the braces.
