Guest Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 still don't understand how he thought cutting stock wiring would be better than getting a battery terminal adapter
bcbrassard Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Cutting anything on the stock electrical is never a good idea in my opinion. Looks like you have the wrong battery and needed a side post one, or at the very least adaptors to get it to the side so factory power would hook up. Had he done either of those you would not have any problems IMO.
gattiboy13 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 The wire would not reach post, so he had to add on to reach.
bcbrassard Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 BEACUSE ITS THE WRON BATTERY! WRONG INSTALL!
gattiboy13 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 Ok i am getting answers now talking to me like an idiot...not cool. Just wanted to post pics and maybe someone has an intellugent answer as to whats goung on and not what i already know.
bcbrassard Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Not trying to be a dick, but what ever he did to splice everything together is causing your electrical problems and should be held responsible for it. We all live and learn the hard way but i would say this is not your fault. Hopefully it can be trouble shooted and fixed so you dont continue to have problems.
gattiboy13 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 Ya headed over to shop now so he can take apart and see what's wrong. Thank you all for your input. AND DONT FORGET TO VOTE SHIRT #4 IN DC CONTEST!!
bcbrassard Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Sorry sir... you are incorrect! ..... SHIRT # 2! LOL This is what i did to my battery & electrical.
gattiboy13 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 Well we found the problem it seems and it is not the wiring. The battery that was put in somehow was bad and had a bad cell, it is a 2150 cranking amps battery and when tested was coming up at only 300 cranking amps and was drawing wrong. So gonna put a new one in and see if this kink is worked out.
