ROLEXrifleman
If I was to invert my Zv4 to fire into the enclosure hat would be the MINIMUM distance needed for it to have? I am looking at options for my build and the box design will be very strange. I'll try and draw a pic to show you what I mean if needed. TIA Quote Rolex you sicken me. tacomaguy1
It does....not sure really, idk what kind of movement they have but its a lot lol 4" is max? And that's internal or external 4" Edited December 9, 2013 by tacomaguy1 Quote Team Flex Issues
ROLEXrifleman
4" is probably internal. i'm still working numbers to see what my options are with these Zv4's I have and the firebird I just picked up. I'm not sure how high I can build up till I hit rear hatch. I'm trying to squeeze cubes out of places without dipping into the rear seat area. Quote Rolex you sicken me. Krakin
With a little under 2" mounting depth, inverted, and 35mm x-max at 70% BL, you are getting close to 3.75" without exceeding 70% BL I suggest -without looking at how it will affect airflow- trying for 5-6" internal minimum. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. ROLEXrifleman
Thanks for the info. i think I screwed myself with this car and subs. I don't have a lot of real estate to give and refuse to loose the back seat right now. And I'm trying to use the Zv4's instead of the X12's Quote Rolex you sicken me.
