alaskanzx5
That box calc is not accurate. For a slot port though you want roughly 3.25 cu ft per 15. That 5.5 cuft net after sub, bracing, and port displacement. Forthose subs you will also want a double baffle and around 170" of port area. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Joe X
So you have a 19.5" tall trunk?

alaskanzx5
The box has to be able ti fit into the trunk. That box calculator isn't accurate. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. FreeZzy
okay, so do you think you can help me to make a good box or tell me how to do ?
Guest
first things first. get dimensions of your trunk. dimensions that you would be able to fit the box through the trunk opening, or to build the box in the trunk (hopefully facing forward if you do that because choking the subs against the trunk lid is pointless). Joe X
FreeZzy if the dimensions you give are right, the box will have to be made inside the trunk.
dblovah51
3.25 per sub and around 55sq of port each tuned to 35hz. who ever said 170sq of port is crazy. 2004 trailblazer 4 FI BTL 18s (2) DC 10.0k xs power d3100s mechman 270 158.2 @
