curiosity 2 amps at 2 ohm or 1 amp at 1 ohm?

Say you have a choice of 2 Amps that put out 1500 rms at 2 ohms or a single amp that does 2500 rms at 1 ohm which would you pick And why?

I'm thinking 2 at 2 ohms, would have 3000 rms and at a lower ohm load possible chance of less power draw.

If this is seen as a vs thread I understand and don't mind it being locked. Just trying to figure something out with pinning 2 different avoids up against each other.

Id go with the two @ 2ohm for the obvious reason of easier load on the amps less draw and less strain

^ my same thoughts, I wont have a lot of room for extra batteries and to stay at a lower class in competitions you have battery limitations. the lower power draw but more power and higher effiency imo is worth it.

I would save roughly $100-200 which could be used for deadener, wire, other car performance parts ect ect..

box rise is a real bitch, I know of someone that swapped his 4 5k's at 1ohm each to 2 "6.5k" at .35 or .45 each and gained .5 db on the meter.

yeah box rise could be an issue, but when the amps im considering put out closer to 1700-1800 at 2ohm and the subs have a 1200rms handling it wouldn't hurt to have some rise. could put it closer to rms for the subs so they live longer.
