Guest Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 wasn't defending nothing but i start wondering how many of you actually know the product an how many are talking shit cuz they paid a g for there amp an other he said she said i get it this is a cheap ass amp a grand for an amp means it's solidly built, usually. the soundqubed 3500 is like 800 or so, and you bet your ass it'll do 4k.
Guest Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I think my aq 1200 was heavier than my ap 1500

graham0599 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 if you have yet to buy your subs, get coils so you can just run at 1ohm! Much easier My 350z build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174424-2008-350z-build/page-2?hl=%2B350z+%2Bbuild#entry2605678
dionysus Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 wasn't defending nothing but i start wondering how many of you actually know the product an how many are talking shit cuz they paid a g for there amp an other he said she said i get it this is a cheap ass amp Lol talking shit cause I payed a g for a amp? Bro I did what you should do and I bought a CT Sounds 1400.1 for $309.99 and free shipping. 1400 rated but puts out 1800rms proven on amp dyno. Ive had friends cheap out and buy AP amps and only one of them still has a working one. They all said the same thing "it was good while it lasted" so why not save up a tiny bit more and buy something that will last? Like a above poster said he's been saving a year, me too, and its worth it. If your going to run some kickers or subs like that the AP will be fine. But if your wanting that next level than you'll want more. If your trying to buy Fi subs or even soundqubed then it makes no sense to cheap out on the amp cause it'll shorten the life of your subs. If you want to hear audiopipe is the shit then go to a softer car audio forum bro, no hate and not trying to come off as a dick bro just letting you know everyone here is going to tell you the same thing to say no to AP! Good luck with your build bud and post pics as you build so we can see how it goes! Cause AP might be perfect for your build man everyone's different Build log link, (Slow Build) http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183469-dionysuss-02-eddie-bauer-explorer-slow-budget-build-sundown-4-chan-guts-pg-4/ Team AB son!
pitbullninja Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 I had a dirty wet ground and when I plugged it up some fucking smoke plumes out my brand new apsm1300 still works tho.. but I get a smell when I'm cranking it.. can't tell if it's woofer tho
Guest Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 or wait for deals. I got one of my aq 1200s for way under selling price and it was barely used
ydirtyboy76 Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 It's really about knowing what type of sound you want i have been doing competition for years I have used Hifonics amps and Autotek amp when they where a dollar per watt so i know what im talking about. I have this amp pushing Two Kicker 18" Solo X Sub's in my Chevy Avalanche The box was special design by the guy that own Volcano they used to be a major amp and sub manufacture but now they just design speaker boxes This Audiopipe apcl30001d pushes the hell out of my subs the bass hit so low that I can see Windows wave on stores fronts i have had people tell me they can hear me coming a mile away you can see my front windshield bulge out when playing bass its funny when other people pull up beside me playing their bass i turn Mines up a little and see the look on their faces and watch their windows shake from my bass so no one cant tell me that this amp don't have power this is a beast of a amp I will tell everyone to buy this amp....
