lol my focus is like 160 stock.

200 amp from a good place? expect like 450-500. go with mechman or dc power or singer (not stinger). call or email them for quotes. only alt places I'd recommend

unknown107 lols you sound just like me hahaha XD. i have a 110 stock alt for now and wanted to get it up in the 150-160 as well in my home town but they wanted me to take my alternator out and then give them it and wait a few weeks and get it back paying them like 400 for it lols. that's why i said to my self might as well save a little more to get the DC 320 alt for another 300 more... not like that's going to kill me lols. + side. you be looking at less batteries when running your music box around is the way i look at it lols :)

depends on what car it is.. if your car came equipped with 160a alt then you need a much higher amp alt to maintain voltage since the car needs that much power.. an old car with a 40a stock alt will benefit more on a 160a alt since it dont require that much amperage to maintain it and run all equipment

so a 160a alt on a new BMW 760i might not help much but in a 1970 or early 80's it will help a lot
