evermaxx
Kinda confused on what to run and what fuses, and where. I'll be running, AudioQue 2200@1ohm Rockford Fosgate 400.4 or 600.4 (Girlfriend got me one or the other for my birthday, Jan3rd) Batterys XS Power 6500 up front XS Power 3100 in back Wiring and fuse & ANL Fuses holders from SHCA I'll be running CCA wire (Hate on it.. I've seen countless threads on it and I dont see a difference between running CCA/OFC at such a high difference) 0 gauge from front to back 0 gauge from back battery to amp 4 gauge from back battery to 4 channel My question is 1. How many runs from front to back? 2. What size fuse or fuses depending on runs 3. Should I add a fuse to my big 3 from front battery to alt, and if so, what amp 4. Is it nessacery to fuse from back battery to both amps, and if so, what amp Team Subsonic Lows Get your garbage EMF products of my amp bitch Man....it makes a nice work bench
TylerParrish
You should be fine with 1 run from front to back and then ground each battery to the chassis. Have a fuse within a foot of each batter (250-300 amp). Have a fuse for each amp (choose fuse size according to how much amperage they can pull, it'll most likely tell you what size fuse you need in the manual). I would fuse the alt run with either a 250 amp fuse, but some people don't fuse their alt run. slamingsuburban
how long is your run between the batts that would help determine the runs needed and fuse for what the wire is rated for so cca 250amps on a 20 foot run ofc 300amps on a 20foot run

flarobbie
u should be ok with 1 run. i would fuse it front to back with at least a 250, but you can run a bigger one. and grounds...u can never have enough grounds..
MrSkippyJ
If you are using CCA I would doulble up on all your runs. That's just me though. evermaxx
Yeah, I thought about doing two runs from front to back, then one run from back battery to amp.
