Mikey Bates Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 Doing a simplish build for my buddy. has a 2 door GTI just like me. he has a decent kenwood deck already with 3 sets of RCAs. looking to do a great sounding fairly loud system. I know people hate the term SQL lol but none the less. Not to tight on budget however trying to keep the budget down a bit. heres my questions: i found the focal Solid 4 channel amp. 75rms x 4 at 4ohms. 100rms x 4 at 2 ohms. for 200 brand new. Any experience with this amp? I figured this would be a good amp, focal has a great reputation and i thought i could expect nice clean power and the price didnt seem to bad. im wondering however what else is out there? maybe a bit more power in the sub $300 range? You might not be able to wire them to get the full potential of amp. So 4 channel for door speakers and your getting another one for a sub?
