Mikey Bates Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 Doing a simplish build for my buddy. has a 2 door GTI just like me. he has a decent kenwood deck already with 3 sets of RCAs. looking to do a great sounding fairly loud system. I know people hate the term SQL lol but none the less. Not to tight on budget however trying to keep the budget down a bit. heres my questions: i found the focal Solid 4 channel amp. 75rms x 4 at 4ohms. 100rms x 4 at 2 ohms. for 200 brand new. Any experience with this amp? I figured this would be a good amp, focal has a great reputation and i thought i could expect nice clean power and the price didnt seem to bad. im wondering however what else is out there? maybe a bit more power in the sub $300 range? hazestorm23 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 You should really decide on what speakers your getting first. You might not be able to wire them to get the full potential of amp. So 4 channel for door speakers and your getting another one for a sub?
