this is what i was told by lots of people.. your port area at 120 can be on the small side. let me check what they say about port area

with 1.5 to 2 cubic feet per 15. With that power they will play to about 24hz in 1.5 cubes. At 1.5 cubes each I would tune the port at about 50hz. At 2 cubes per I would tune it a bit lower at 45hz. If these are new sp4s. Be careful as they will fall apart if you push them too

I agree with Miguels, I think 120" may be on the small side for a bandpass. I may have gone with more airspace sealed too, since that's where your low end response will come from. 2 cubes isn't terrible, 2.5 may have given a little more oomph though. With lower power, I probably would have fed more sealed side.

And as far as port area, it's just me, but I would have shot higher than 120" for 2 of those subs. I'm not talking bad about the design, we all do things differently. I'm sure you'll have good output and it'll get loud. I am really tuned in and excited about this build, I love those subs.

yeah honestly im not thrilled about the design at all. The box originally had 96" of port.....I was like yeah fuck that lol Its hard to keep the tuning under 45hz with a bigger port then what ive changed it to. I could make it 132" and be at 43-44hz or I could make it 144" at 47hz? Id like some input and opinions actually. Appreciate the help!

for now just a dc 3.5k at .5ohm but I'm gonna be getting a sundown 5000 or crescendo 5500 after some battery upgrades
