Miguels Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 All I can say is I ran these RE amps. I ran one that was suppose to do 1000RMS on a 600RMS sub and it would not push sub much at all. It gave some bass but would top out once turned up and was under powering sub. Go with something better, even hifonics would be a better choice. not even close.. my re xtx did even better than the hifonics brutus i had re xtx 5000.1 vs hifonics brutus brz2400 i take the RE anyday.. it was louder and sounded much cleaner.. though i wont ever buy RE amps ever again.. they are junk as well. i posted a link of the CT sounds 900 watt amp.. its a beast and cost much less than the junk the OP is planing on getting my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd.

I ordered the amp out of ignorance thinking RE was a good thing as i have never really been in audio scene but had heard good things a long time ago, but from someone i probably have no place in trusting. Anyway, RE has posted a review on their site out of Performance Auto and Sound Magazine. Breif summary: 78w rms CEA 2006 total tonal range at the highest impedence, then the 1k 14.4v/12.6v +/-.2% @ 1% THD+N is 85x4@4 129x4@2 262x2@4/63x4@4 95x4@2 195x2@4. Take that as you will.. makes me sleep SOMEWHAT easier since it's past return point i believe, and should be able to power my 4 ID CTX6.5CS... now to find power for the SA10D2 Here is the test
