I would be running this at a 2ohm load, for 1000watts, aiming for 600-800 so will just turn it down a bit

I just havent seen many people use them..

and with the plexi glass bottom cover, can i mount them with the guts showing then? or is that considered upside down and harm the amp ?

There is actually a couple people on here that are running some they seem to like them. As far as displaying the amp upside down I guess in a way you could but due to the heat it generates you have to be carefull where you mount it so it doesnt burn anything and a couple of fans could help as well.

oh lord, looks like RE Audio is trying to go back to the grass roots of usamps (which they bought the name back in early 00's and ruined it) with the plexi bottoms again. My input is this; If you think you're going to get 1000rms out of it, i sadly think your mistaken, i can be wrong now, but i doubt it

It wouldn't bother me not doing rated, because really what im going for is 600-800 watts, so if it is over rated thats fine, which i believe it is.

just questioning if i will be able to show the guts, will it over heat? will it last?

the sub amp will be wired at 2 ohm load, powering only a single obsidian audio v3. and the mids/highs amp will be powering 4 crescendo pwx 6's

you need not worry about overheating if you mount it upside down, she'll be fine

you will only see 500 watts out of that amp at 2 ohms and for the price you can get better

All I can say is I ran these RE amps. I ran one that was suppose to do 1000RMS on a 600RMS sub and it would not push sub much at all. It gave some bass but would top out once turned up and was under powering sub. Go with something better, even hifonics would be a better choice.
