I need to add a small brace to the inside each enclosure since the span of the front and back faces are over 20" long.

Fuck that you were alreqdy cool enuff to give him a system and install it free..you should make him pay for and help install the next one..no1 has ever given me a system I had to pay for every single amp sub speaker hu and wire I have ever had. Im 23 yrs old and have already easily spent over 6 thousand (of my own hard earned) dollars on car audio. All of that has made me appreciate and baby every single piece of equipme t I have and have ever had. Because it all came from my own hard work. You can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or you can teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.

Should have him help with everything and explain why you do what you do. If he loses interest end the lesson for the day. He'll take more pride in something he helped do and if he wants it he'll pay attention.

Honestly have him help you with it. he will take more pride in something he did/helped with. Hell he is lucky you are giving him a system. I'm 17 and have bought every piece of equipment I have owned. I have been doing installs since I was 14. I mean you gave him the first one and he blew it up maybe you don't give him this one. make him work or pay for it
