SlamminBeats
1/4 inch dia. try to find one that is about 3/4 long lol oooo are there bits 1.5 inch long?
SlamminBeats
1/4" diameter. I use a 1" long bit because I don't like to cut through all of it at once. I find it best to make a few passes to keep the heat down on the bit and I burned up one trying to power through 3/4" MDF. link to bit? my router says 1/4 and 1/2 collet? is that bit diameter? B-Large
I have been wondering the same. havnt ordered my router yet but was looking at this round over set, its a little pricey but am understanding these are very high quality. http://www.amazon.com/Whiteside-501-Router-Bit-Sets/dp/B000AM18RM/ref=sr_1_18?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1388368668&sr=1-18&keywords=router+bit+set+round+over I believe i heard of them of smd but am also considering mlcs bits. http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/routerbit.html
775Tundra
Does that router also have a half inch collar or just a quarter inch?the box says both? lol Then I would suggest buying bits with a half inch shank. Diablo is good. Bosch is good. If you buy ryobis be prepared to be pissed off when they break halfway through a cut. I forgot what brand I use but I would have to go out to the shed. They are mostly 1/2 inch shanks. Don't expect for quarter inch shanks to cut through 1.5 inches without a few passes. 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold

775Tundra
what is shank size? The stem of the bit. You can get 1/4 inch diameter bits with a 1/2 inch shank. 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold
