hello everybody

this topic is very important to me because where i live we don't have good car audio stuff .......

lately i have been looking for upgrading my power/ground cable but the problem is that i cant find a good decent one .

yesterday my friend got me pieces of wires every one is 75 cm long it has terminals on the both sides , it looks like the longest one

am thinking of connecting them together to make a long power cabel i need 6 of them and one for the ground

so the question is if i putted the terminals on each other and holding them very good with bolt and a Nut like this one

http://www.cssauthor.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Screw-bolt-and-a-Nut.jpg

will i lose the efficiency of the cable ???

or do you recommend cutting the terminals and silver Soldering the wires together ??

any help would be appreciated

thank you

By the time you do it properly you might as well have bought good wire. The nut and bolt idea is not even feasible. What if the bolt rubs through the electrical tape and shorts? Then if you're not properly fused, kaboom.
