Evo Test Drive today! Pg 2, need advice

All those mods are VERY well proven.

We use the same Walbro fuel pumps, Jacks Transmissions rebuilds and H&R Suspension. AMS Performance and Tomei exhausts are commonly used by Evo 8, 9, and 10 owners too.

Now, you know who built and drove the car. What about the tuner? Yea, its commonly known that Mitsu engines are "destructible" (hell, ours can take around 500awhp before even doing rods, forged crank, and pistons), but as I'm sure you know.. a tune can make the difference..

This has the 5 speed, right? Iirc GSRs has 5, and MRs had the DCT.

Ken, I believe that the issues you were hearing about was with their TC-SST (or whatever they call their dual clutch). Were the issues regarding slipping when torque was increased or simply not shifting like it should?

If she wont stop acting up i may....

Something draining the battery, so i have to start her up within 12 hours or she dead. WIth this subzero temps we have been having, she easily dies. I even jumped her, drove it to work, shut the car off and instantly tried to start it, and it was dead. Jumped it again after work, drove to the gym, came back out and she started fine. So idk wfh going on.

If i tried to sell it i know id want to punch someone in the face for what they would offer me. I bet the audio in the car is more expensive than the car itself is worth :(

lol well i was having a dead battery issue in my 02 gp, turned out that my alternator was defective and was leeching while the vehicle was off, whether the harness was plugged in or not. Just got it back and have yet to install it because we are getting blasted with snow right now lol. If you get a chance, go out to your car, open the hood and put your ear close to the alternator. If you hear a high pitch whine come from it or it's mildly warm after sitting over night, it's your alternator. Or like you said it could be a dead battery and it needs to be changed lol How many miles you have on the car?

So...alt is Excessive amperage 200 amp alt, Just rebuilt, and batt is yellowtop only about 4 months old, HC2400 in trunk. Went to orileys and they said alt was good. I did not want to turn the car off for them to test battery in case it didnt want to start again. before i turned it back on when i was at the gym it read 12v. Ill check what u said tomorrow morning, but iv had the same issue with two different alts. Car has 158k miles, bought her with 34k lol

Do you still have your factory alt? Try swapping it in and see if it does the same thing. That's how i figured out it was my alt, pulled my 300a and put the factor one in and it was fine.

I had the original alt in when the EA alt was being rebuilt, same issue.
