Benjamin Amparo Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 ok for the longest now i been getting static or white noise coming from my speakers audible when nothing is playing. i tried turning the gains down even all the way and ive come to the conclusion its not that. next i started leaning towards my clarion eq as the cause of this unwanted noise. so i disconnected it and began rewiring my whole system and suddenly i realize i no longer had the static issue, that is until i plugged in the subs amp then i got the static back in the speakers. i thought maybe the rca to the sub amp is causing it so i unplugged it, still hearing the noise. the noise only goes away when the sub amp has no power to it. which to me makes no sense y that would cause static noise. could it be a grounding issues. any suggestions would be great thanks. 97 Lexus ES 300 Source: clarion cs702 Front stage: faital pro 6fe200, seas prestige 27tafnc/g Subs: soundqubed hds212 x2 Amp: mids and highs PPI P900.4. subs Alpine MRP-M850

Causing feedback through the system, if the amp is worth saving and repairing then go ahead and do that, or just replace it with another amp. Turboelky Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 I know what your talking about! But I don't know how to fix it LMAO. I too have "white noise" if nothing is playing. I just got over it because it doesn't affect quality when the music is on. I changed both amps and wiring recently and still have it. Only thing that is still the same as its been for a few years, is the head unit and EQ. Good luck bro. I'll be watching lol.
