I'm looking for an amp to push my dual 10' Rocksford Fosgate P3's. The woofers are rated at 400rms each and I've heard good reviews on the AQ1200D or a Hifonics Brutus 1100 watt? Should I get one of these amps or something better/smaller/bigger? I'm on a budget and would like a quick answer, thanks.

What is your budget and what coils do the woofer have?

Out of those two, I would not go with the hifonics. I have the BRX1100.1d and it was garbage, my first hifonics amps and it wasn't even worth the trouble. The SQ Q1-1200D(AQ1200D) is a very good amp for the money.

For the money go with the SQ. I have the 2200 and love it. Some people like the hifonics and some people don't so you might get mixed responses on that but nothing bad has been said about the SQ.

I went with the Hifonics amp, I read some decent reviews and it has a one year warranty so if it does give me any problems then It'll be going right back. Your responses made me a little nervous guys :s but thanks for the responses.

Every amp suggested above has a year warranty.

Post pictures when you get it, and take the back off, and take pictures of the guts, and put it in the amp guts section.

Problem with that is that the hifonics have seals, so that will instantly void the warranty.
