Is there anyway to wire these together and get the 2500 rms, I know its 1250rms at 4 ohm but does that mean the sub will see 1250 on each coil or total, making the total on the sub 1250 and only using half of my sub and amps potential?

With a DVC 2ohm sub you can either choose a 1 or 4 ohm load. If the amp can do 1 ohm you can always go that route just make sure the gains are set and if there is a bass control knob use it.

It would be 1250 total bc since the resistance is higher it halves the total rms in half.

you can not wire that sub to 2 ohms, if you're dead set on that amp and wiring at 2 you need a sub that is dual 4

or try wiring the kicker to 1 ohm, idk if they like that or not

I heard someone saying they get 3500rms from the amp at 1ohm bit idk if its safe.. I don't wanna burn up a 900$ amp.

the problem is I have a stroker pro 15 and a kicker zx2500 now. If I had to sell the amp that wouldn't be a big problem.. I'm dead set on the subs. I just need a good amp for em.

. I would keep the sub rather then that amp as well

Yes I could run two from it but it would be at half power 1250 rms per sub if I did that.

I wanna put max power to these subs without blowing them up. I got the amp for 300 bucks (dirt cheap) but I think it might be the wrong amp and I could easily sell it for a profit if need be.. I assume I have the wrong amp for the sub I have.. I don't know much about technical info yet. I was looking for a second opinion on what other people would do if they had this amp and this sub.

Thanks guys.

well in this case then I would get rid of the amp especially if you can make profit and get an amp that does rated at whatever your final impedance will be
