leonfowler Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 ! have a ab 750.1 at .5 ohms my electrtical stays higher than 13.4 ....i can play 30 to 45 hz no problem but when i get to around 50hz and up ,my amp plays it for a good 3 seconds then output just gets cut in half randomly ...i checked my wiring and subs and everything seems to be good im note sure why my amp seems like it wants to cut off on me on high notes....anyone ever have this problem? 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT Walled- 10.5 cubes net tuned 33Hz 2-15 inch AA Team subs D2 Americanbass- 750.1 1 yellowtop under the hood , 4 c&d 88ah batteries in rear mechman-270 pioneer headunit-4200UB 4 soundqubed supertweeters phoenix gold 2 channel back up camera stinger volt meter 22 years old and still have alot to learn..lets get it
mrd6 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Cuts in half or cuts out completely? My first thought is that you are tuned low and don't have much rise at 50hz and above so your amp is protecting on the high notes....but just getting quieter? Idk My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL

Brandon Mendoza Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 Does your headunit have any cutoff points? My Kenwood has a LP and HP filter setting on it but idk if that could cause this problem? I would assume it could tho.
