yes i have a lpf for my sub on my headunit for 50, 63,80,100

Does your headunit have any cutoff points? My Kenwood has a LP and HP filter setting on it but idk if that could cause this problem? I would assume it could tho.

Put a dmm on your amp outputs measuring rms voltage. Then play a tone or something and compare the output voltage when it "cuts out" to before.

That should at least eliminate that the problem is with subs or wiring....

If voltage drops when the volume cuts out the problem is in the amp or signal path to the amp. If the voltage stats the same, your amp is still trying to put out power but something is up with your subs or wiring...

Should at least start to narrow things down, its where I would start.

It may not be .5 ohm stable. I have a jl amp and when it goes into thermal protect it turns the volume down. I couldn't find the manual for your amp.
