DireRaptor22
I tested it earlier with my headunit only. Ran RCA directly to DD-1. No signal. Set all my EQ to flat etc etc and my crossovers to default, but I can't do anything to get a signal out of my HU. It's a Kenwood KDC-355U. Jessica
maybe you didnt plug the rca in far enough. It a common issue people have for some reason. Some rca's have thick boots that keep them from plugging in all the way i think. 2 Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. DubNDodge
I got my dd.1 back in 2011 and my cc1 in 2012 possibly 13. My dd.1 didn't come with that circled piece but my cc.1 did. The harnesses were different as well. I personally like the harness from my dd.1 and I used that for both of my tools Quote '01 Dodge Stratass Sealed Trunk Build Log 2008 Honda Fit Sport Build Log On 10/3/2013 at 10:00 AM, ROLEXrifleman said: Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult. DireRaptor22
I also want to add that I'm a total n00b at this lol. Popped the CD in, turned volume up 80% of the way and still no signal. My door speakers were about to pop from the 40Hz tone lol, those little 6.5" can't take the low notes very well. DireRaptor22
what track did you have the disc on? Track 1 and Track 2, neither worked... I'm suspecting it could be a bad ground. How exactly do I ground a probe? lol Quote “The fascination of flight can't be expressed with words. But it really lies beyond the capabilities of human endeavor. Jessica
Don't use the dd-1 with speakers hooked up. Although you can do it that way you shouldn't. 1 Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. bbeljefe
It would be nice if these meters came with a bit better quality leads. Something like the Oldaker leads which have very sharp points for penetrating cable jackets as well as threads on which you can screw alligator clips and other accessories. Also, I've had to resolder the ground inside the RCA connector on my leads because there was absolutely no strain relief at the connector. Maybe I got a bad set of leads but I haven't seen any others with a strain relief collar inside the connector so I'm pretty sure there are none. DireRaptor22
Don't use the dd-1 with speakers hooked up. Although you can do it that way you shouldn't. So I gotta rip my HU out and disconnect the speakers first? Quote “The fascination of flight can't be expressed with words. But it really lies beyond the capabilities of human endeavor.
