Im going to tell them the camera is on. Id rather deter them from doing stupid shit, instead of finding that they DID do stupid shit later on video. As far as I know, any mechanic shop has a liability to prevent the introduction of a flame. That would be an issue. If they aren't interested, I'm sure their insurnace companies would be or corporate headquarters. I wouldn't even hesitate to send it off to corporate after the work is done. Tell them silence can be bought for the price of a new shelby. But seriously, I will be sending the vid of a mechanic leaning over my engine compartment with a lit cig between his fingers to a higher level. Along with the clip of the same guy saying "the customer should pay money to drop and inspect the exhaust" after the code scanner found no faults.
