HunterJohnson
Hey SMD, thanks because you guys always help me out and give me sound advice! I'm planning to build a hackintosh computer, what is your advice and where should I go to learn about compatible hardware with os x. My parents also need a new PC so maybe I should build a PC first? LMK what you guys think. Thank you again! HunterJohnson
So I kept digging...and it seems that there's a couple downsides to a hackintosh. First off you can't update, and if you do you have to make a clone before you do. Just incase the software is not compatible with the hardware. Second it takes lots of time tinkering if you purchase the wrong hardware So I think I want to build a PC first before I attempt a hackintosh Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
Maxim
For anyone looking for the best resource for building a Hackintosh: http://www.tonymacx86.com/home.php If it's going to be your main machine and would be your first Hackintosh build then I would just build a PC and make the Hackintosh a side project for the time being. The last thing you want is to have an issue with your build and not have a machine to fall back on. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

S15_Silvia
I have a hackintosh netbook that was a lot of work to get working normally. It's much easier with a desktop thank god. You can pick and choose parts that have proper kexts for them and whatnot. Maxim's link is a good source. However, if you don't have experience doing this, I wouldn't recommend it for a main system. Definitely have something to use daily while you work on the hack on the side. 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. HunterJohnson
Good luck. Tried this at one point. Had nothing but driver issues, ditched the project thanks man, I'm ditching the hackintosh project too. My buddy is in comp engineering and he says i should stick to PC. It's to much of a hassle for not much gain.
