j_1990
Voltage drops pretty low. I know when I have my stereo up loud it drops to about 10 and then I turn my headlights on it shuts my stereo off. I know I need a higher amp alt I was just curious if it would help my amp and subs perform better.
goldeneye4564
if you are dropping that low yes it would. but you are going to need an extra battery as well to store some extra juice. i would still make another box. and port it. j_1990
Yeah I'm gonna try to come up with some way to get a ported box to fit. Should I put the port facing the top or to the outside?
goldeneye4564
if the side is going to be right up against a wall then do top port. if the side will have a gap between the port opening and the wall then do side port. Neckbeard
top port like this if you can't fit side, also you could run it down the whole length of the box, or do it between the subs. What ever you want Also depends how much room is behind the subs if you could run the port behind them Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/
