RooTxBeeR
I'm curious why you want mid bass from a 5.25 if you have 6.5s? Its your system so not trying to knock it but I would think band passing a good mid bass 6.5 and band passing a good midrange 5.25 would be better. Just my .02 they are on the same channel as my rear 6.5s. I have to tone them completely down at the moment for the 5.25s to work well at higher volumes or bass heavy songs If you have tone down the 6.5's because the 5.25 can't keep up. That means your not crossing over the 5.25 properly. The 5.25 take alot less power and cant be crossed as low as the 6.5s on the same channel. ......how could this be done differently? LOUDEST PHUKN BURB N LA COUNTY!!!! RooTxBeeR
Only way to do it differently would be to power them with a separate amp or separate channel. As long as they are on the same channel they will be crossed over at the same point. And that's what I really wanted to avoid as I already have two 4 channels (well one now and one more coming soon) and a two channel. I wanted to avoid running 6 amps between front rear and sub stage if I could LOUDEST PHUKN BURB N LA COUNTY!!!! RooTxBeeR
Why not just either not run the 5 1/4 or make that spot able to fit 6 1/2 On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol.
