Phaeton Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Thank you I'm going 12g! Sky High has some good prices for 50' and 100' of 12g so Imma do a measurement with string to.get a rough estimate of if ill need 50' or 100' but ill probably go with 100' cause its not a bad price at all and if I ever need more ill have it! get 20% more for wast and a lil bit for that random project where you need 4 feet of wire. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

Jessica Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Just remember, you have to terminate that wire in a way that it will connect to the speakers. Most fosgate mids i have seen have spade terminals and they are designed for the 14ga style connector. That 12ga wont fit into those unless you do some trimming on the wire. You might have to shop around for some that will accept larger wire or solder to the terminals, or reduce to 14ga at the speaker. Some companies are switching to push terminals now, but i don't know what size wire those will accept. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
