Title says it I'm wondering if 14 gauge wire will be good or do I need to go 12 gauge? Right now I just have new Rockford 6x9s one in each door. I will be glassing my doors for more mids/highs but not till like the end of the year and possibly as late as the beginning of next year and I do not want to re run wire. I was going to run CT Sounds or Execution Audio (same owners) but Sky High has better prices so I'm going with them on wire and they make 14 gauge as the others don't. I know its kind of a stupid question but I just wanted some opinions if it'd matter between 14g and 12g. Thanx!

You cant really go wrong with bigger wire. I used 14 gauge for my mids on my Mb Quart 0a800.4 and it seemed alright, It isnt huge and is easy to work with.

Lol you're too funny my dude! Yeah so I'm not goin with the CT60.4 or 125.4 for mids/highs cause I did some work for a friend and he payed me with the sundown SAX100.4! Still plan on going with the CT1400.1 for sure tho!!

Thank you I'm going 12g! Sky High has some good prices for 50' and 100' of 12g so Imma do a measurement with string to.get a rough estimate of if ill need 50' or 100' but ill probably go with 100' cause its not a bad price at all and if I ever need more ill have it!
