off topic slightly... u thought about a Certified pre-owned CTS-V? Or something similar? LS series GM engines are nearly bulletproof and are way cheaper on the maintenance side

Man I'm glad I didn't lock this I get to witness two retards holding hands telling each other that it'll be ok because they are awesome.

While i don't have the srt-8 model challenger the R/T is a lot of fun to drive. Hands down the best styling of a modern muscle car in my opinion. The new charger is pretty sweet too and has a lot of the styling cues from the 1969 charger. As far as power goes and driving I absolutely love my challenger and i haven't done much as far as add ons go besides exhaust work and the hurst short throw shifter i installed. If you're serious about getting one id definitely recommend getting one with the 6 speed. The Tremec TR6060 is an amazing transmission and has been used in several different sports cars besides the charger and challenger such as the camaro ss, corvette, viper, cts-v, gto, etc. the stock 5.7 really plants you in the seat when launching, so i can only imagine how the 6.4 performs. The challenger ( and i assume the charger) are very roomie cars and the trunk is huge.

As far as mpg goes, it really depends on the driver. Ive got a bit of a lead foot around town so my mpgs are usually around 12. On a trip on the interstate I've gotten as high as 32.

Love that black charger btw. Black (& any dark color like mine) is hard to keep clean though

As far as maintenance goes i haven't really had any problems at all. Ive got a lifetime power train warranty, which i believe dodge still offers? It certainly limits what i can do as far as add ons go and idk how easily they would void a warranty but its nice knowing i have that warranty. The only time i had to have the challenger towed in was a couple years ago when the car just shut off while driving down the road. Apparently it was related to a faulty factory ground that was recalled.
