Hey guys I had a question about car audio builds and I figured what a better place to ask it then a forum dedicated to car audio and all that fun stuff. I just got rid of 2 12" Pioneers because I wanted to upgrade my system. I am looking for something within the $250-$400 price range as a whole. I drive a 1999 Lincoln Town Car, so the trunk has adequate space for a big set of speakers. I have a couple ideas of maybe what I want but i'm not sure which one would sound the loudest for the price. I was looking and I found a couple different setups I like, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links or not but for my sake I will not unless notified I can. I want to get a 15" DVC Sub and A monoblock amp. Any suggestions? If I'm allowed to post links please let me know so I can show you what setups I was going to look into buying.

post up the links man

once you get a speaker moving so hard that its possible to make tinsels slap, you are already kissing "SQ" goodbye. :D

Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem.

Alright I was looking at all three of these combinations but I want a second opinion on which one would be the best buy.

1. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76085_2000W-NVX-and-Belva-Bass-Package.html

2. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_75377_Boss-15-Sub-Amp-Box-and-Kit-Loaded-Bass-Package.html

3. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76118_4800W-Boss-Bass-Package.html

To me it seems #3 would give me the most power and maybe more SPL but again I want opinions!

Trunk cars are tuff to begin with but that Lincoln is a pain in and of itself. Between the metal bracing and the leather seats you need as much surface area and power as you can afford.

are you talking $400 for a sub and an amp or just the subs?

Rolex you sicken me.

jump on one of these

http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/182199-dc-lvl-3s-need-gone-asap/

and find a decent amp for $200 and you'll be blowing all 3 of those packages out of the water

with the 3 options you listed i would just wait. None of them would be a good choice to me in the long run. The wont give you what your looking for and you will never be able to sell and recoup any of your money. JMHO
