dmz2711 Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 Now I wanted to do something cool on the panel itself. I went ahead and used a raised Ascendat Audio logo. For those of you who don't know how to do it here is how I did it. Alot of people use some type of sound deadeing material for this, such as dynamat. I decided to use these little foam sheets that come with an adhesive backing to them. I printed out the AA logo and got to cutting. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!!

I actually like the foam a little better than dynamat. You get a nice even surface unlike dynamat where the foil part sometimes creases. It also feels pretty nice. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!!
dmz2711 Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 After I finished wrapping everything up (sorry I don't have pics of the insert wrapped up), I wanted to see what it would look like so I shoved everything back in my car. Then I put the box in, its coming together pretty good! I'm excited! After getting a good look at it, I didn't like the fact that you could see the painted black panel that holds the LED's. So I covered it as well. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!!

dmz2711 Posted March 25, 2008 Author Report Posted March 25, 2008 Then I started on the mount for the Kicker ZX850.4. I had extra room behind the seats, so I mounted it at an angle. I made it out of a 90 degree bracket that I had laying around. I cut the bracket, then I welded it to make sure it was extra strong. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, NOBODY!!!
